The disappointment is almost worth it

It was a disappointing football season. It’s a disappointing end to the recruiting cycle. But knowing that all the UNACCEPTABLEs are pounding-the-floor miserable right now almost makes it worth it. They deserve nothing better. And truthfully, I don’t think they’d want it any other way. Now delete this thread.

Actually, I’m promoting the creation of a more supportive and fun fanbase by simply inviting the joyless, entitled malcontents of this board to hop aboard one of Elon Musk’s rockets and get shot out into space. That’s all.

Perspective and reality are totally lost on you. I will keep this simple for you Larry and see if you can keep up. If you had an employee the you compensated generously and said employee was under performing and not meeting your standards you had set forth. Would you consult employee and try to work things out or just take the complacent attitude you take here. Get real douchebag! Sorry you get so offended by the critcicism. Some of it is warranted. So hop on your precious little unicorn and go search for rainbows and STFU!

Maybe in your head thats what you think you are doing. But in reality you are doing nothing but creating segregation of a fanbase. Absoultely nothing about this post you created is "supportive and fun" of the fanbase. You cry to get rid of fans that do not meet your personal standards and revel at their disappointments. That's all.

I can’t even discuss last season anymore. Jim will figure it out. That’s why he gets paid $7-$10 million a year and we don’t. I have confidence in him. Next season will be better and the ‘19 recruiting class will be much better. Today sucks and tomorrow will be better. GO BLUE!!!!!

Of the 19 recruits in Michigan’s 2018 class, none are among the top 100 players in the nation and only five are ranked among the top five players in their respective states.

Although Julius Welschof is ranked as the top football player from Germany, I don’t count him among that group because he’s 20 years old and hasn’t been competing against top football competition.  He appears from his workout video to be athletic, but if he were a 6-6 goalkeeper, striker or central defender from Germany, then maybe there’d be more reasons to be excited about his signing.

Significantly, the 2018 Michigan recruiting class has no players from Ohio, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland, Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota or Virginia, states within or close to the Big Ten’s geographical footprint.

Although it's now the 21st ranked recruiting class in the nation and maybe none of them will make significant contributions during the 2018 season, I'm hoping that several members of the class will greatly exceed expectations, but as I've been reading comments on the board and searching for lots of reasons to be cheerful about this recruiting class, this was what I’ve found:
