Carrying the Load
According to Rivals and Asst. Rod Smith, Brandon Minor is ready to carry the load this week after a good week of practice. As they pointed out on Rivals, we've heard this kind of thing before, but apparently they're giving this more credence. Could see more Minor than usual this week.

The coaches realize that Mcguffie is gonna get worn down and injured if he keeps getting 25 carries a game. This quote might mean he is already starting to get beat down.

I don't think it's the 25 carries so much as getting gang tackled .5s after taking the handoff.

I think that Minor can really play. Hopefully he can hold on to the ball and avoid minor injuries and be a consistent part of the offense.

Well, he was clearly our player of the game. Hats off to him. Let's hope he can continue to make the most of this opportunity. As a pure runner, he's clearly ahead of McGuffie right now. It's just a matter of him securing the ball.
