Bri'onte Dunn poss. Injury

Submitted by Ohioblueblood on

With seven carries for 56 yards, including a 22-yarder and a four-yard touchdown plunge, the 6-2, 215-pound back looked like he would easily slice the Austintown-Fitch defense for 200-plus yards.

But on an off-tackle run late in the first quarter, he was awkwardly tackled, tweaking something in his left hip.

hopefully this is nothing and he will have a great senior season

I'd guess a hip pointer or a groin strain. Both are bitches while trying to do anything remotely athletic. Best of luck to him and hopefully it's only a bruise.

Had a hip pointer injury when I was a HS senior, and while I was able to suit up and play again after two weeks, it never fully went away until the season was over.  Tough injury, and I feel for the kid.  Hope its not very serious, and he can get back to doin what he does sooner rather than later!

Not trying the thread jack, but on the other michigan recruit front -  I believe Banner and Payton were scheduled to take official visits to Oklahoma, anyone hear anything as to how those visits went?
