Brandon Logan

Does anybody have any insight on Brandon Logan's lack of playing time? He was a 3-star prospect out of Kentucky and never really played much at all. He hasn't been on the travel roster this year, and he was one of only a couple seniors who didn't play in Michigan's final home game against Northwestern. Walk-ons like John Conover, Ricky Reyes, Tim North, etc. have all at least played on special teams. But I don't even know if Logan played a single snap this year. I'm just wondering why that is.

a sliver of playing time in one of the thinnest LBing corps in the country, than yes, it's safe to say you're a huge liability to this team right now and the only way you're getting on the field is by some sort of miraculous Barwis-induced coma of suddenly awesome. Mouton and Ezeh both play way too much for young guys who aren't quite ready for the big time - which is a testament to how bad our other options are.

Logan get a lot of PT in last year's EMU(Eastern EMU not ND EMU) game? It is kind of odd that RR is playing guys who were in Carr's doghouse (Savoy and Dutch come to mind) but not playing guys like Logan who IIRC played some decent minutes last season. RR has repeatedly said that the best players will play, so Logan must not be good enough to warrant any playing time.

Logan did play - and played well - in one game last year (maybe EMU, maybe another one) when Chris Graham hurt his shoulder or something. But I think that was the only significant time he earned. Savoy was mostly limited due to his case of the dropsies, which he has exhibited this year as well. Although peeing in public wasn't that smart, either.
