Yeah i agree, JJ is a top 150ish guy. Most likely 4 star guy. I always feel like it takes the recruiting guys longer to catch on up north guys. Dior mathis is another guy who will be up on that board eventually somewhere.

I have seen this kid play and practice...how can I put this...the kid is not remotely close to the top 200. He is slow and can only catch a ball when he's by himself...half the time. Everyone around him knows he is only getting into Michigan because of his dad...not his abilities. Also the whole varsity coaching staff at Huron High school was shit-caned at the end of this season so I would guess there will be other players emerging...just a guess...

You indeed know Jack Shit about football and are a outstanding representative of the scum of the universe. So let me get this, Urban Meyer wants to ultimately end up at Michigan, so he needs to get in good with Jackson, who in a few years is no doubt going to be AD....are you getting the sarcasm? Now go back to your hole in OH and stop pretending to care about Michigan. mkay?

Well, the blackhand guy did say this: "I have seen this kid play and practice...how can I put this...the kid is not remotely close to the top 200. He is slow and can only catch a ball when he's by himself...half the time. Everyone around him knows he is only getting into Michigan because of his dad...not his abilities." That's not exactly participating in a discussion so much as it is being a total jackass.

This is the discussion I had the other day. You can attack ideas without attacking the person. His stance does not mean he's a "moron" or knows "jack shit." If the only qualification for being a "moron" is being wrong one time, then we're all morons.

My qualification for being a moron is "wrong the vast, vast majority of the time and has terrible critical thinking skills." A bad idea I'll attack. An idiotic thought process that takes correct facts and convolutes into stupidity, then I'll attack the person.

Jeremy Jackson's offers mean he's probably a 4-star guy. His lack of playmaking ability probably prevent him from being a top 100 guy. He will probably be somewhere in the top 250. If he's not in the top 100 - and he's not - then it's not that farfetched to say he won't be in the top 150. That's only 50 more slots. It's ridiculous to think: "Yeah, he's not 1 to 100...but dammit, he's 101 to 150 and if you don't think so, you're a dumb shit!"

it seems that we're not on the short list for a lot of these talanted recruits. Even the ones who list national interests (not just local) are mostly listing ND, USC, LSU and Ohio State. Remember when we used to be in the hunt for these types of players?

Dior Mathis has only played Corner for one year. Also, I look at these initial lists as a whole, rather than the top, because they change so much. This will have changed a lot by the time the next season starts. I just look at everyone on there, and watch where they move to.

Yesterday I made an attempt to add to this discussion…my post had the unintended outcome of pissing some people off. This was not my intention at all. Like I said before…I am just learning about football so I may make some jacked up statements...and it wont be the first or last time. I don’t mind anyone criticizing what I say…that will only make me understand this great game more.
