Was Pat White really a better passer? I'd like to what another offseason of QB coaching can do for his mechanics. They seemed pretty solid in September, but kind of broke down after BGSU when he got hurt. Maybe another year solidifies his throwing motion and he can run a more traditional passing game.
Also, I don't see what Michael Vick (the closest NFL analogue) has that Denard doesn't. Denard has plenty of arm strength and is way more accurate and advanced as a passer than Vick was at the same stage of his college career.
If guys like Seneca Wallace and Tarvaris Jackson can play QB in the NFL, then why not Denard?
Denard has better arm and accuracy than Pat White. Pat White's arm strength is overrated and was never an accurate passer. There is a reason why RR called for more passing plays under Denard than when he was in WVU with Pat White at QB(though it helps to have Slaton at RB).
