OT - World Cup Final -- who you rooting for?
So, been busy with work and haven't been able to keep up with the threads on the WC in the last two rounds.
Just curious to see where the rooting interests are on MGoBoard for the Final? Personally, I used to love the Dutch and started this tournament rooting for them. However, the more games that I get to see with them, the more they seem like punks. The Spanish on the other hand play a beautiful game that is joyous to watch even when low scoring. So I'm going with Spain.

Scotland plays them in qualifying for Euro 2012 and I would rather play the World Champions than the runners-up with a chance to repeat 1967.

I also consider the use of wooden shoes to be an unfair advantage, so I'm pulling for Spain in the name of fair play.
I'm Dutch, so Netherlands. Also, I once had a girl I liked be whisked away to Spain by a dbag. I ended up dating her for three years once she returned. However, I still don't like Spain because of this.
As I noted previously, the Spanish soccer and U-M football teams are inversely related, so a Spanish win could mean bad news for us this fall:

Besides that, I'm pulling for the Dutch because this is their third trip to the finals - and the first two times they had the awful luck to play the host country each time. They deserve the brass ring. Plus it's cool that a pretty small country could win it all.
