OT- Flooding

I just got done volunteering up around Valley Nebraska, and the barriers to stop the water just broke. The Platte river has risen 20ft and the flooding hasn't stopped and won't stop until 7 p.m. tommarrow night. I was wondering if there were anyone else with these stories to tell?
