OT: MSU strength and conditioning coach in trouble.
The bad decisions being made in East Lansing are on a constant cycle of repeat as of late. Another coach at MSU is in some hot water after a deadly accident involving the death of two people. How Lou Anna Simon and Mark Hollis still have jobs, is beyond me at this point!

To other websites. This is just a sad story which reminds us even the little things can have serious consequences. Some of these stories deepen certain posters' MSU derangement syndrome or "MSUDS".

I am not defending Hollis or Simon for their general mishandling of MSU's various legal problems these past couple of years, but this is just a tragic accident caused by someone being an idiot and costing two people their lives. I'm not sure how this can be pinned on anything MSU did, unless you can show they somehow encourage employees to text and drive about strip joints. About the only thing they could have done is fire him immediately, but suspension seems like it might be the best they could do before his day in court.

the employee's conduct wouldn't fall under any theories of employer responsibility; it may, or may not, be reflective of organizational culture.
