This the least excited I have been for a Super Bowl in awhile. Manning and Newton can both kick rocks.

Anyone else struck by how old both Manning and Brady looked? I know Brady has a couple years left but looking at what Cam did in the next game it just seems like the new generation led by Newton and Wilson is taking over. The Pats are going to have to build a hell of an O line and defense real quick if Brady is going to get another shot.

Brady's line is awful.

And he had an amazing year with a deep threat in Randy Moss and they never went out and got him another.

The Pats hit on some sleeper/system guys as draft picks and got too cute and outsmarted themselves.

There's no reason they shouldn't have an awesome line and a tall, rangy, deep threat to go with the slot guys and RBs and Gronk.

The man literally had one of the best years in NFL history. I understand not having Moss, but shit, get SOMEONE...they never have.

Brady looked old because his offense sucked today. You can't expect him to put a team on his back versus that awesome defense.

The Pats should be putting young weapons around Brady so that he doesn't have to carry the load. The Spurs approach with Duncan.

I think he could play as a top 5 QB for 3 more years before he really starts to tail off like Manning has. But that's only if they put weapons around him and protection in front of him.

If I'm the Pats, I go

  1. OT
  2. OG
  3. Tall rangy WR
  4. RB
  5. C
  6. CB
  7. LB

...in this year's draft.
