We are still Michigan. Let's show some class.

All of us are upset, demoralized, devastated and whatever. However we are still Michigan. Let's show some class. There is a post from a long time member wishing that O'Neill would do us all a favor and leave school. Then he doubled down on the comment by saying he's not a real student and is devaluing his degree.

I can't imagine the hate Blake O'Neill is going to hear from all kinds of places, but (even disregarding all the times he has come through), no human being deserves to be treated like shit for a mistake. None of us were even close to being good enough to step on the field and be in the position to make the mistake.

It hurts like hell, but this is a game and I hope people show some class and support this whole team including Blake in the future.

A second post.

Thank you for pointing out that it is terriblly unfair to foist everything that lead to this defeat on this young man who other than that one play, played a good game.

Without going into depth (dubious referring, missed opportunities on offense, ? got a bit conservative before the end of the 1st half - strangely didn't consider attacking as if in 4 down territory on Michigan's last possession of the 1st half - ended up punting), defeat has many many contributors.

Be honest - most people would have been happy with 7-5 and 8-4 at the start of the season; Harbaugh's team has coached these kids UP and they will continue to get better.

Now is not the time to rip into each other. Sparty hung in there and pulled out a miracle, but OSU looms and other teams. The race for the East Division title is NOT over and there is still a lot of football left to play.

Cone on guys, we weren't gonna win the NC this year.  Let's process and move on.  It was shitty.  I lost big money on this game.  But let's gather some perspective and believe in the future.  I honestly don't think Harbs will lose another game to MSU.  The future IS bright.  Blip on the radar.  It hurts.  Bad.  Move on and be Michigan.  It will get better.

...social media is not essential to his life. It's not even reality. I hope he just tunes out and continues going to class, hanging out with his buddies and chopping wood with the football team. There was a time when it was always that way for everyone. Unfortunately I think those days are over.

Blake O'Neil, keep your head up. We wouldn't have gotten this far without the help of special teams and your punting. Like I said in other social media posts; to the Michigan football team and fans alike...focus on the stake and not the peas. We are still in play for the bigger prize, so keep your head in the game. If we win out the rest of the way, and Nebraska and Ohio State takes care of business against Michigan State, we would win the Big Ten East. Moreover, most sport writers still believes that Michigan is a better team, and that the separation between Michigan and Michigan State is virtually non-existent. This shows in the latest AP polls with Michigan State remaining at #7 and Michigan only dropping three spots to #15. We could still make it into the top ten if we win out up to the Ohio State game. If we win that game, make it to the Big Ten championship game and win that, we have a really good shot for the national play off. Put the Michigan State miracle aside; dispense with the "should haves"; it happened so move on to the next game, and focus on the "what ifs", maybe a miracle could await us as well.

Lets move on and finish strong and shock the world! GO BLUE!!!!!!!!!!
