I'd rather that Minnesota plays good competitive softball (and that at least a few other B1G teams do, too).  It doesn't do Michigan any good in preparing for the post-season if we don't face some tough competition along the way once we come north, back home to Wilpon.

Because I want Michigan to clobber Minnesota. I want it all this season. The B1G, the B1G Tournament, the NCAA National Championship. This team is more than capable of doing it.

to see the Michigan Softball Team continue to roll on their long travels back and forth across the nation!   But I sure hope that before  they finally come home to play on the 14th (just 9 days away!) that they send some warmer weather up to Michigan---it's supposed to get down to 5 above tonight, with record cold temperatures forecast for Thursday and Thursday night, below 0 in most of Michigan.

The fact that any team in the state of Michigan schedules outdoor games in the middle of March is asinine. They have to know better. The end of March at the earliest.

They moved the M Lax game vs #20 Brown inside Oosterbaan on Sunday instead of it being at The Big House due to weather concerns. I suspect they'll be doing the same with W Lax next week. As of right now, they play Virginia Tech at The Big House on Wednesday...... At night.....

Don't forget to set your DVRs for 12:30 pm tomorrow (just 12 hours away), as Michigan's WBB faces MSU in the B1G Tournament in Chicago.  Televised on BTN, of course.

And now, back to Softball...

I didn't get to watch this game, but I just wanted to give a shout out to that young third-base woman, Montemarano.  She is rock solid on defense with a cannon for an arm.  I think she's the most underrated player on the team.  I really like her game.
