I'd rather that Minnesota plays good competitive softball (and that at least a few other B1G teams do, too). It doesn't do Michigan any good in preparing for the post-season if we don't face some tough competition along the way once we come north, back home to Wilpon.
to see the Michigan Softball Team continue to roll on their long travels back and forth across the nation! But I sure hope that before they finally come home to play on the 14th (just 9 days away!) that they send some warmer weather up to Michigan---it's supposed to get down to 5 above tonight, with record cold temperatures forecast for Thursday and Thursday night, below 0 in most of Michigan.
Don't forget to set your DVRs for 12:30 pm tomorrow (just 12 hours away), as Michigan's WBB faces MSU in the B1G Tournament in Chicago. Televised on BTN, of course.
And now, back to Softball...
I didn't get to watch this game, but I just wanted to give a shout out to that young third-base woman, Montemarano. She is rock solid on defense with a cannon for an arm. I think she's the most underrated player on the team. I really like her game.
