Austin Hatch Official Visit
The almost unbelievable story of Austin Hatch continues. Not much detail in this article, but enough to re-amaze:

Whether or not he ever plays (and it's not clear that he will, although my bet would be on "yes"), all my usual esteem for Beilein rises even more.
next year. I think they will take the year to evaluate how far he has come and decide then whether to Medical him or not.
How did that 1 percent thing work out again?
The Lord Grantham persona was so close to being enjoyed...but a scorpion will always remain a scorpion.
I can't imagine the anger he must have for his late father.

Personally, I just can't believe you or I or any of us here could possibly make that supposition about Austin Hatch and how he feels towards his late father. Nobody but Austin's closest friends/relatives might be in position to make such a statement, other than maybe any grief counseler or psychologist that may have been involved in his recovery.
Each person handles the things life has dealt them according to the way their past experiences have "wired" them; just because you or I might handle such tragedy in such a way means absolutely nothing when it comes to how Austin deals with it.
