Another Great Article from the M Daily
Touching article about Roundtree and Shaw's upbringing through Pee-Wee football and how it helped prepare them for their future football careers as Wolverines. It's always nice to hear about where our team comes from. GO BLUE!

... hope they dont suck like the rest of them, once they start getting paid.I think it's inevitable. From my experiences, once you get a job at a "real paper" you lose most of your freedom and are tasked with drab stories that offer little to no opportunity for meaningful insight. Also, I think there's a competitiveness at a lot of the bigger papers, with every writer wanting to get his or her name out there in the general public. Unfortunately, the quickest way to do that is by writing crap that will get people's attention, regardless of its quality.

You-know-Rosen-who was a pretty decent writer for the Daily before he got paid....

The Michigan Daily has at least two better feature writers/journalists than anyone in the Ann Arbor/Detroit market. Why can't the "big three" newspapers hire people like this?

The Daily is doing quality work. Great read.
I am almost a little disappointed on the real story of Roundtree's
decision. Takes away from the Snake Oil mystique!
