Tangential relation to college football?
Former LSU fullback Shawn Jordan, member of their 2007 BCS National Championship team will be fighting Mike Russow in a heavyweight bout.
-----------------
Anything University of Michigan related?
Not this card. However, plenty of former Big Ten wrestlers and Big Ten wrestling champions have made (or are presently making) their mark on the UFC.
Most notably being Brock Lesnar (Minnesota-retired), Mark Coleman (Ohio State-retired), Kevin Randleman (Ohio State-retired) Rashad Evans (MSU), Gray Maynard (MSU), Phil Davis (Penn State), Matt Mitrione (Purdue-football), etc...
So the Big Ten is well represented at the top levels of the sport.
So enjoy that.

Now we get to see which Rampage shows up.
I've got Glover in this one.
You just never know where Page is at mentally. If he has completely rededicated himself he's one scary dude, but it feels like we've gone through this song and dance before, and it's been all talk with Rampage his last few outings.
His fight with Bader was downright embarrassing. There were mitigating factors, but still, he hasn't looked particularly good in years.

I think Page has the chin to stand in with Glover. When was the last time Rampage got KO/TKO'd? The 2nd Wand fight, and that was brutal?
January 26th, 2013 at 9:05 PM ^
Rampage is going to get KO'd
January 26th, 2013 at 9:07 PM ^
It's looking that way. Then again, look what happened in the Glover - Maldonado fight. Glover got caught trying to go for the finish.
Rampage can't complain about Glover not standing with him though.

"You got nothing."
Come on Rampage, he dropped you in the first and almost KO'd you a few times.

The take downs are going to win Glover the fight. He's definitely had the edge on the feet, but you never know with judges.
January 26th, 2013 at 9:18 PM ^
I'll give it to Rampage for making it to the end.

Yeah, after that 1st round the odds of that happening weren't looking very good.

Showtime knee.

Awesome

Dodson is lighting Mighty Mouse up on the feet. He's dropped him twice in 2 rounds. Make it 3 times.
January 26th, 2013 at 9:49 PM ^
Dodson is impressing me!
January 26th, 2013 at 10:14 PM ^
Dodson is really starting to slow down here. Mighty Mouse is going to grind out these last 3 rounds for a UD if something doesn't change.
Edit: It looks as if the superior strength and conditioning of DJ is going to win him another fight. Dodson just wilted under the relentless onslaught of Mighty Mouse.
January 26th, 2013 at 10:15 PM ^
Mighty Mouse just doesn't stop. Did one judge only have him winning by one round?
January 26th, 2013 at 10:19 PM ^
Two judges scored it 48-47. One judge scored it 49-46. I thought Dodson won the first two rounds and Mighty Mouse won the last three. I could definitely see giving the first round to MM as well though.
