In case anyone responsible for Brian's convalescent care and gourmet feeding is reading this: tell the doc you want the scrip for the nausea meds right up front, rather than "we'll see how he responds to the painkillers."
Woulda saved me the very worst part of my week as caregiver after my fiancée had surgery to remove some bone spurs.
When do find out if Brian get's his redshirt or not?
I work in a hospital and heard a surgeon say something a while ago that always give me comfort. He was speaking to a pt who was very nervous about his upcoming procedure.
"Only one person in this entire world has a greater interest than you in this being a perfect surgery. Me."
