Fitz was on ESPN (briefly)
I DVRed the E60 from yesterday (I know, I know ESPN sucks...), and one of the segments was about the Big 33 high school all star game. For those of you that don't know, it's the best of Ohio vs the best of Pennsylvania. They were calling it the Super Bowl of High School and were talking about how greats like Montana, Marino, and Namath played in it.
They showed a clip from the game, and there's this running back tearing it up. The play by play announcer says, "and Fitzgerald Touissant goes in for the touchdown!"
Thought that that was sweet as hell.
Also, I thought that this would be posted by now since it aired yesterday, but I just watched it and didn't see any threads so...sorry if it's a dreaded repeat.
for those interested.

EDIT: And it was pretty interesting. I was unaware of the history of the BIg 33 game.
I posted after the first clip, but it showed him score again, say his name to the camera, and wearing a Michigan sweatshirt.
He is bad ass.
a while back. Fitz is like the number one stunner, looking for big things out of this young man.

This video was published on Aug 4. Sorry, but -1
This is a new, the E60 clip, but, the footage of the Big 33 game is older. Great to watch though.

I been watching Fitz and Isaiah since they were sophs. Alot of talent has come out the NE Ohio area .. Beachum,Zordich went to Penn St just to name a couple and i think they will both be very good .. but of all the kids IMO hands down Fitz is the most fun to watch play .. he is a big play waiting to happen.

Man we got two scary freshman this year at running back with Vincent and Fitz. Both are big plays waiting to happen and I can't wait to see them have great careers.
I can't wait to see Fitz redshirt this year and prepare to battle Shaw, Vincent and MIKE COX in 2010.
I'd love to see someone do similar research for the CaliFlorida game. It's the exact same as the Big 33 except it matches California vs. Florida - two states that can also produce some great players. I'm pretty sure there is a game like this that features the Texas all-stars, but maybe that's just a E/W or N/S type of game.
The game has changed over the years, with the exception that Pennsylvania is always in it. For a while it was Penn v Texas.
Cool fact: Every single Big 33 game has had at least 1 player play in the Super Bowl.
Fitz is a beast. Thanks for the post.
