I can't believe I missed this during the game. If you need a shoulder to cry on... That hair is silky smooth.

The agonizing loss to Stanford after the undefeated 1971 season. The loss to USC courtesy of the Phantom Touchdown by Charles White. The potential game-tying TD pass bouncing off of Stan Edwards's helmet in the waning moments against Washington. John Wangler torching NC for a Gator Bowl record in the first half, then getting cheap-shotted by Lawrence Taylor and losing by 2. Steve Smith getting knocked out by Don Rogers against UCLA, with no capable backup. Keeping Auburn and Bo Jackson out of the end zone, but losing on field goals. Ernest Shazor's elbow within a millimeter of blocking Texas's winning field goal.
Yup, this one starts to bleed away the pain nicely.
