Don Bosco Prep football photos featured in New Yorker
For the New Yorker readers/photo geeks/M Football fans; you know who you are. No Yuri Wright photos, but a cool crossover nonetheless.

Soooo, am I the only one that saw these pictures and thought "those guys dont look like the type of players that make up a top program'?

That is a top program...rest assured

Yes, I realize that as they seem to have beaten about every good team in the country, they just seemed a little undersized and underwhelming.

Even a top HS program won't look like a D1 college team. At best they may have half a dozen players going to that level - and many are 16 or younger.
Having said that I would agree that this is a pretty lame collection of pictures

That actually looks like a pretty big team, and none of the pictures were of any of the highly recruited 'stars'. I wouldn't want to play them.

#18, Jabrill Peppers (pictured in first slide), is a sophomore DB with offers from Florida, Rutgers, and South Carolina. Michigan may be looking at him down the road, as they seem intent upon tapping into the Don Bosco pipeline with offers this year to DE Darius Hamilton, WR Leonte Carroo, DB Elijah Shumate, DB Yuri Wright, and '13 DE Alquadin Muhammad.
Also, whoever thought it was a good idea to include this shot is..well..wrong.

Too many pictures of white kids! New Yorker is RACISSS!

I guess the coaches thought all of the average kids were being neglected too long by Rivals? Or that was one of the least informed field photgraphers they had.
