OT: Texas vs. Texas A&M
I'm early - it starts in about 10 minutes.
This one is rather significant in that it will be the last time these two teams play as in-conference rivals. If I recall correctly, there are only two other rivalries which have played more often than this one, so hopefully we're in for an interesting game.

Kind of funny, since there was a feeling amongst A&M fans that Bullock was offered a scholarship to get in with his friend and teammate JB Shugarts. Guess that one worked out ok.
November 24th, 2011 at 9:15 PM ^
Special teams derp moment just gave Texas a get 1-play drive there.
10-7 Aggies.

Wife can't comprehend the fact that I need to monopolize the laptop and the TV. She had the the 65" on HGTV and I missed that last TD.
November 24th, 2011 at 9:24 PM ^
Fumbles!!!!
November 24th, 2011 at 9:25 PM ^
They are trying very hard to avoid having momentum.
November 24th, 2011 at 9:30 PM ^
Longhornz will need nose momentuz to winz.
November 24th, 2011 at 9:30 PM ^
Bullock makes an easy FG this time - in the same county.
November 24th, 2011 at 9:31 PM ^
I see what A&M is doing here. Settle for the FG and limit the lead to 9. If you don't have a double-digit halftime lead, you can't blow a double-digit halftime lead. Good work Sherman.
November 24th, 2011 at 9:32 PM ^
You just have to keep ensuring that McCoy hits Tacopants and that he is occasionally sacked. Not what happened just now.
November 24th, 2011 at 9:33 PM ^
That's seriously some great thinking. You my friend watch way too much college footbaw. Any so do I for knowing what you are talking about...
November 24th, 2011 at 9:37 PM ^
F*ck what I was about to say....Longhorns just threw a great pass to the Aggies.
November 24th, 2011 at 9:41 PM ^
QB draw was not a good idea there.
November 24th, 2011 at 9:42 PM ^
Maybe he thought that Tannehill could teleport himself to the first down marker?
November 24th, 2011 at 9:44 PM ^
I hear mexicans can dig some good tunnels under the boarder into texas. A & M tried and failed.
November 24th, 2011 at 9:46 PM ^
More of a California thing. Texas has a river in the way.
November 24th, 2011 at 9:49 PM ^
I've been through two tunnels under water. USA-Canada and France-England.
November 24th, 2011 at 9:36 PM ^
Went to the well once too many times Mack.
November 24th, 2011 at 9:38 PM ^
Carr = Brown
November 24th, 2011 at 9:40 PM ^
QB draw on 2nd and 24?
November 24th, 2011 at 9:42 PM ^
See above about 4 posts.
November 24th, 2011 at 9:48 PM ^
I forgot about that new 10-second rule at the ends of halves. Seems like it has some teeth (even though the FG was likely out of the question).
November 24th, 2011 at 9:50 PM ^
Mark May will talk about "trickeration", and everyone else will look at him as if to say, "What you do in your spare time is written all over the mens' room stalls."
November 24th, 2011 at 9:53 PM ^
Mark May used Lou's spittle for lube.
November 24th, 2011 at 9:48 PM ^
Going to halftime.
Another potential scoring opportunity stunted by Case McCoy and his uncanny ability to suddenly (albeit too late) realize he is playing football.

Marijuana is a powerful drug.
November 24th, 2011 at 9:54 PM ^
They would likely say, "Oh, is that all it is then..."
November 24th, 2011 at 9:58 PM ^
Or Colts GF would call a radio station and say he gets its for free or for a greatly reduced price.
November 24th, 2011 at 10:02 PM ^
Free pot would explain some of the playcalling by Texas certainly. It burns like flash paper, after all.
November 24th, 2011 at 10:08 PM ^
Certainly not a performance enhancer for footbawwwww.
November 24th, 2011 at 9:59 PM ^
Tous!!!!! gettin love from ESPN.
November 24th, 2011 at 10:03 PM ^
They gave a nice little shout-out to the defense too. I smiled at it.
November 24th, 2011 at 10:07 PM ^
Never gets old. I forgot how much I liked a nasty defense.
November 24th, 2011 at 10:09 PM ^
When Lou Holtz came on, my wife asked who the old man was who could barely talk. She then said he needed to retire.
November 24th, 2011 at 10:11 PM ^
I have such mixed feelings about Lou. Sometimes I long for the day is off the air and other times I know I will miss it once he is gone.
November 24th, 2011 at 10:12 PM ^
He needs to retire before the OT demanded by the building maintenance folks at ESPN mounts in the face of excess spittle.
November 24th, 2011 at 10:09 PM ^
Gig em Aggies
November 24th, 2011 at 10:10 PM ^
November 24th, 2011 at 10:14 PM ^
I know that's how I want to start my first offensive drive of the half....
November 24th, 2011 at 10:17 PM ^
These teams are both awful. The real problem with the BCS is in the back end rankings. How is Texas ranked in the BCS? Also, Notre Dame. Big name programs are always waiting in the wings (15-25) even when they are having bad years.
November 24th, 2011 at 10:18 PM ^
We have been there sometimes when we are suspect at best.
November 24th, 2011 at 10:20 PM ^
....many B1G teams, Michigan included, have walked ass-first into the BCS door in a given year. It's the system as well as the teams that are perennial favorites.
November 24th, 2011 at 10:22 PM ^
It's really starting to get chippy
November 24th, 2011 at 10:24 PM ^
Get first 3rd down conversion.
Get penalized into 3rd and virtual oblivion.
Convert 3rd down.
Then throw "WTF?" interception and tack on unnecessary roughness penalty.
Give up defensive touchdown.
Other than that, great drive, A&M.
November 24th, 2011 at 10:38 PM ^
exclusively throws to double- or triple-covered receivers when he isn't checking down for 4 yards.
November 24th, 2011 at 10:25 PM ^
Can we just all agree to abolish 3rd quarters?
November 24th, 2011 at 10:26 PM ^
...then MSU would play complete games since they are traditionally a three quarter team.
November 24th, 2011 at 10:26 PM ^
Going to sec west or east?
November 24th, 2011 at 10:29 PM ^
West I think Mizzou goes to East.
November 24th, 2011 at 10:30 PM ^
Good luck against LSU and Alabama, Texas A&M.....
May whatever god you believe in have mercy on your soul. *blade falls, decapitating team*
November 24th, 2011 at 10:40 PM ^
....when the other team misses 700 tackles on the return. 2nd and goal Texas now.
EDIT: 17-16 Texas now. Apparently, field goals will not only determine the pace of the game but decide the outcome as well.
DOUBLE EDIT: Tannehill now on the sidelines explaining how good throws can end up in the wrong hands.
