Its more of a philosophical argument, like, if a tree falls in the woods and no one is there to hear it, does it make a sound. Likewise, if the WNBA exists, and no one cares or shows up for their pick-and-roll-festival, did an athletic competition really exist??

That was way more boring but way better than this. That hot tub has gotta be filled with about a dozen unidentified stds from skanks shipped in for an all star game.

I disagree. The HR Derby and MLB All Star game is the best of all the major sports.

I love football but the Pro Bowl is boring. The NBA All Star game is boring too and the slam dunk hasnt been shit for 20 years. Id rather see a 480 ft HR than the same dunk every year. I bet Robbie Cano can do the Blake Griffin dunk over the front end of the hood of a KIa but Id like to see Blake Griffin knock out 32 Home Runs, many touching 470 feet.

I actually like the derby and so do a lot of my friends. Never got drunk while watching it though, maybe next year. I even watched the celebrity softball game and that was pretty entertaining too! AL almost came back to win it. Yea yea Im a baseball nerd thats ok. Girls like it.

The MLB All Star game is actually pretty cool, because it counts for something and the players actually try, unlike the other All Star games.  But the HR Derby just lets you watch people do something that is, for them, really easy, over and over again.  It's like a 40 yard TD pass competition with no one in coverage.  Boring.  Just bring on the actual game already!

Really? Its easy? Ask Brandon Inge how easy it is. How did Jose Bautista do yesterday? How does a body feel after 2 rounds of 20 swings each round? The body is tired, going into the final round and still tryin to knock out close to 500 foot bombs. I think its a little harder than you're giving them credit for.
