OT - Colts Frank Reich Quote/ Offensive Versatility

The Colts physically decimated a team and won in coach Harbaugh’s favorite fashion yesterday.  However, that has not been the Colts M.O historically or even throughout the season.  When the physical style does not work, they switch on a dime to RPO’s, crossing routes, 4 wide sets, and light it up through the air.  Michigan has the QB and personnel to do the same thing.

Here is Reich after the game:

“We know we have an elite quarterback and we can throw it for 400 (yards) and win when we have to.

Harbaugh outlasted Meyer.  He never has to apologize for this.  If haters try to come at you saying Harbaugh never beat Meyer - remember that Meyer did not have the cojones or physical strength to last a 10 year war.  He quit at 4 years - perhaps seeing that ultimately going 4-6 would literally kill him.  Harbaugh has integrity and the advantage of not having his health being destroyed by a guilty conscience resulting from repetitive public lies.

Michigan could potentially have six games left if we win every single one. The official 4 game Michigan revenge tour (Wisconsin, msu, psu, osu) is nearly complete, but here is my scenario for the ultimate Michigan football revenge tour:

1. Michigan defeats chief rival Rutger despite their efforts to fence the garden and defeat us for the second time in their history. We may have the most wins and the highest winning percentage of all time, but they are the birthplace of college football. We need revenge on them for giving birth to football before we did.

Bovada Heisman Odds - Shea Patterson tied for 3rd

Bovada Heisman Odds - Shea Patterson tied for 3rd

As of yesterday, Shea Patterson is tied for third with (little D)wayne Haskins for odds to win the Heisman trophy at 14/1.  Kyler Murray is 2nd at 6/1.  Tua Tagovailoa is at 1/10 (yes, 1/10 - ridiculous).

Now, I don't think Shea has a very legitimate shot at this year's Heisman, but I am thrilled with these current odds for what they mean about national recognition for Shea and the program.  Also, I would venture to put him as a top 3 candidate for next year's Heisman if he chooses to return.
