The difference is 17 points a game allowed and limiting turnovers (today being an exception). Did not see that last year. Let's be positive for once, winning 11 games is much better than the alternative. Remember 0-16?
It will be tough to beat them in GB in what will likely be a cold Sunday Night game. But the Leos have been exercising a lot of demons this year. This is one of the big ones they need to accomplish (next is winning a playoff game). Their defense gives them a chance. It's gotta happen eventually right??

Not respecting someone's firmly held religious beliefs is just as much bigotry as you claim Kirk is displaying. He said nothing that is inconsistent with Scripture which his life is directed by.
I'm not getting into this debate, I just wish people would understand the hypocrisy when this argument is used.
Saying "beat down" is arrogant in of itself. The series was very tight. The Tigers starting pitching was for the most part dominant (remember when they could barely muster a hit over 2 games?). Boston proved to have a better bullpen and got some clutch hits late. But the series could have easily been Tigers in 5. But that's baseball for you. To imply that Boston dominated Detroit is ridiculous.
Not sure what your definition of "backed in" is but Michigan won its last three games of the season in 2011 including wins over Nebraska and Ohio. It's not like they lost some games late and had to hope other teams would lose to get that bid.
I was in the Dayton Mall a couple months ago shopping for various consumer goods when Eddie George walked past me. I was wearing a bright maize Michigan shirt. He stared me down as we crossed paths. I did my due diligence and informed him promptly to "Go Blue." He smirked to acknowledge my statement and carried on about his endeavors.
