I blame Bill Martin. …

I blame Bill Martin.  Everything that led to today is his fault.

Wheatley was a 1st Rd draft pick for the New York Giants.  He had a few good years there before being traded to Miami where he was cut.  He found his second wind in Oakland where he had his most productive years under Jon Gruden.

At SU he had Delone Carter for 1200 yeards and Antwon Bailey for another 550 yards.  2011 he had Antwon Bailey for 1000 yards.  In 2012 he Jerome Smith for 1200 yards and his freshman recruit Price-Tyson Gully for 800 yeards.  After he left those guys didn't get close to 600 yards.

In Buffalo he had Fred Jackson and CJ Spiller.  Buffalo ran a thunder lightning type RB situation.  Combined they both had about 1800 yards rushing and it was split pretty evenly.

2014 in Buffalo the RB situation was an injury plagued mess.  Fred Jackson and CJ Spiller both missed significant playing time.  Bryce Brown and Boobie Dixon filled spots effectively at times.  Between all 4 RB's Buffalo managed to ground out 1300 yards.

High school coaches I know in Western New York have met Wheatley on the recuriting trail when he was SU.  The said he pitched his time at Michigan and the NFL effectively and was smooth in trying to bring kids into SU.

From what I've heard and read over the years living in Western NY he's a solid coach.  Good hire for us.

Let it go....really... As a father of 3....including 2 daughters ages 7 and 5....I want to thank you for that take on Frozen. That was the 1st time I've see the word "Frozen" and did not instantly want to smack my face off my brick fireplace. The Last of the Wolveriens.....epic.
Bo Dever Keep your eye on this kid next year. I hear he has been lighting up in practice this year as a walk on freshman. Got hurt in HS, but played with Tommy Rees in HS and got some looks from DI schools. Good kid who fits the system and could make a big impression next year.
The question I have is who

The question I have is who the hell hasn't tried to pull off a hood slide ala Bo and Luke Duke at 2am when they've had a few pops?

It's just bad luck a cop was there....

WE ARE....IN TROUBLE

I thought this was going to be a bounch of nothing, but when PSU AD Tim Curley and the PSU Senior VP of whatever, Gary Schultz... both take a leave to coordinate their defense against purjury charges.... that's when I knew that this was going be big BIG.  Now JoPa is heading out...this is VERY BIG.

Rumors in State College according to the Centre Daily that PSU is planning JoPas exit...this is not good for "Happy Valley," college football, the Big Ten, or anyone between Philadelphia and Pittsburgh.

My faith in sports humanity took a hit after golden boy, Eldrick Woods, hit a fire hydrant, but this is going to turn me into a flat out cyncial individual.
