Thanks for looking out. I

Thanks for looking out. I mean I personally could care less if I had a million points or negative one million. Not the end of the world. I just thought people should see how rediculous it is and I dont think they should be awarded or taken away so easily. Its just silly.

The one thing that gets me

The one thing that gets me about this blog is the negging. I didnt say anything opposing to anyone and it was just a comment. For people to neg something like that is just a dick move and makes others hesitant to comment. Just take it for what its worth.

I have seen a few people do

I have seen a few people do it the last few years and I think if a lot of people joined in on it then that would be pretty affective on top of yelling. I will start doing the bottle and change trick next year!

Trust me, I'm screaming all

Trust me, I'm screaming all game every game but its obviously not working for us as a whole.

1) OSU-they have shut out the 1) OSU-they have shut out the past two teams and held it close to USC. They will get better every week and Pryor is still good. 2)Penn State- I cant believe everyone has given up on them. I understand it was in happy valley but they shot themselves in the leg with this loss. They put the game in the air for Iowa and Iowa just had a much better game. You also have to remember that 2 of PSU's linebackers were out for the game. I still say that if they played each other ten times, PSU would win 7/10. I have to take my hat off to Iowa though because they had a great game. 3)Iowa- They showed that they have a good D and can make plays. This team has taken most people by surprise but i still think that they arent as good as PSU. 4)Michigan- Our offense can score points with the best of them but we dont know how our young team will do on the road and our defense is shaky. I think we can beat every team in the big ten but we arent that consistent. (and by i think we can beat every team i mean our offense can keep us in every game, but it just depends on our defense). 5)Wisconsin- They showed that they can play well against MSU and they are always a tough team to beat at home. 6)MSU-Is still think they are a decent team but it may take them a little bit to get it together because of their freshman QB (we have the FORCE on our side so experience doesnt matter). Remember, they almost beat the very team that has given our record any value (notre dame). After this i dont really know because i havent payed attention too much to the other teams and me trying to rank them wouldnt be just.
I cant believe we are comparing the two... Minor is definitely better. On the three huge gains that brown has had, nothing special was done. He had great blocking and had huge holes. Minor is slower but i still think that he could have done the same because a safety or corner isn't going to take him down. Minor never goes down on the first tackle and is way more consistent. Brown doesnt read the holes as well as minor and cant break a tackle. Also, minor still has that nagging injury so he isnt one hundred percent and thats why i say start brown (even though minor is better). Thats my look on the situation although i am sure some wont agree which is fine.
thanks guys. I agree with all thanks guys. I agree with all you are saying. simple pass plays will be key because they wont be very talented at throwing or catching. . anything to confuse the other team will be huge because I am sure they are going to be taught the very basics and wont know what to do on broken up plays or trick plays..so your saying scratch my defensive plan and go with man coverage?
In college football most kids at my school in the past couple years like Florida, texas, or USC. I will have friends over and we play NCAA and they always pick one of those teams and its just like common, seriously? and they are like "oh, I was born in texas or I have family in texas" but yet they cant name two players on the team...WV was one also for a year or two and kids act like they actually like these teams but when u confront them about how they are a fan, they just say I like this player or I like this coach..Florida I would say is the biggest bandwagoner out of them all though...I walk through school and see about three kids everyday with florida gator shirts on but yet we live in michigan...comon, lets be honest with ourselves.
After last saturdays game, I After last saturdays game, I went to BD's Mongolian BBQ in AA and I sat at a table with my friends. About ten minutes after i sat down, Kelvin and his mom (who is white which i didnt know) sat down at the table next to us. He was in the full michigan warm ups and i congratulated him on the victory. I wonder why Kevin wasnt there with them? All in all though, he seemed like a pretty cool guy
I am going to the game as well My dad has a friend who has one of the suite boxes at the game so he invited my dad and i for it. In the box im sure it will be nice and quite becasue we all know each other but I am almost 17 and talking trash is what i do (especially if UM is winning)...so maybe I will take a few trips out of the box and work my magic. (I am going to be possibly painted up and will not be afraid to confront any obnoxious illinois fan i see)
my father was an alum and he my father was an alum and he has had season tickets on the 50 yard line for thirty years...I remember always going to the game and i would get tired of watching and would want to go out and go into the mgoblue store or whatever...the first game i remember was michigan versus rice. we killed them and we had about 40 pts...one game, i bugged my dad all day to buy me a michigan football so at the end of the game he did..we threw it around about 5 times and all the sudden my dad was like "quick give me the ball" so i did (i had no idea why he was all the sudden freaking out. . he said follow me and started fast walking over to a parking lot. there was an "old guy" (in my mind) that my dad was walking toward and he said "Bo, will you sign my sons football?" he said sure and signed it. . i had no idea what had just happened so i was like dad throw it to me and he said no, we arent going to throw this football ever again..all i had wanted all day was a football and i had no idea who that guy was so i was pissed off...when i was about 12 my dad gave me the ball cuz i finally understood who he was and it has sat in my room ever since....another thing that hooked me was when i was in 2nd grade (about). It was my birthday and i had brought two friends along with my dad to the game. my dad said about a half hour before the game that he had a suprise for me. . he took me and my friends around the stadium and went over to where the band enters. . he walks up to some guy and shows him 4 passes and we started walking into the tunnel. . my dad stops us right outside the locker room door and said give it a minute..about a minute later the band goes into the tunnel and line up along the walls and star blasting the victors.. right after they start playing the locker room opens and all of the players start running through the tunnel all pumped up. . i remember sticking my hand out for a high five in awe and my hand was just getting rocked from these guys 4 times my size. after they had all filed through we went onto the field where they were practicing and a few balls bounced over to where i was and i picked one up and threw it right to anthony thomas who had run over to get them. . that might have been one of my fondest memories of all time...i love getting tunnel passes once in a while and it makes for an awesome day..i love the smell, energy, excitement, and feeling that college football saturdays give..there is nothing better then going to a michigan game on a beautiful fall saturday and walking into the stadium with delicious kettle corn in your hand and getting goose bumps from the 100,000 + ppl yelling and cheering for the team you love..simply nothing better. GO BLUE FOR LIFE!!!
yea that was him..he deals yea that was him..he deals with people who contribute to the program and is a public relations guys...basically he sucks up to people to make money and stuff.
oops the other guys...stokes oops the other guys...stokes was looking ok and seemed to have good hands but he didnt really stand out to me..same with gallon..i think they need a little more time to start clicking.....mathews has very sure hands and i never saw him drop a ball but he just doesnt have the speed or explosivness that other WR have...he seems to be a very quite guy in interviews and stuff and he wasnt every like yelling "did yall see that?!?!?!?!" like some of the other players bragging when they made a good play..it was funny though, one play the CB was like hanging onto his jersey when the play wasnt anywhere near them and he just threw the guy down and seemed pissed and he kinda yelled at him to get off of him
yea robinson had good hands yea robinson had good hands from what i saw and beat the CB every time on the 1v1. he had to cut the 1v1s short though because he made a diving catch into the endzone and i think when he landed the ball drove into his stomach (knocking the air out of him)..after he layed there for a little bit, he had to sit out until the next session..they have 25 five minute sessions and cant rest except for one five minute break when they can get water, a popsicle lol, or just rest..the popsicles were good btw haha
o yea, they are all over o yea, they are all over there players when they make mistakes...like i said earlier, i heard more f-bombs then from a rap album..but they are also encouraging
yea everyone was suprised at yea everyone was suprised at how well he was passing...maybe he is finally clicking in the system
yea he looked like he was a yea he looked like he was a very smart football player and he never seemed flustered in the pocket and seemed to know what he was doing..it was an off-day for him and i was just impressed by denard more (i was expecting less from denard so i think that is what made it seem like he was doing better)....I think we will be able to win with either denard or tate..they were both able to hit guys in stride and both were good at running although denard was better (because he is so much faster)....now that i think about it, they were both pretty equal in passing, but denard made more big plays on the ground so thats kinda what set him over tate....dont get me wrong, tate made plays on the ground every time he ran, but they just werent flashy and long plays like denard. tate would get like the first down but he wasnt really ever a home-run threat like denard is
Tate will start for sure. Tate will start for sure. even some of the guys were saying on the D.L (down low) that tate knows the offense so much better and plays like a true veteran and that he would start. . denard has that speed but supposedly he is inconsistant on how good is throws are. from the one practice that i saw though, denard was doing awesome with his throw accuracy. . .i think more toward the middle of the season we will know who is better and who should start because denard should have enough time by then to know the system and get his freshman kinks out (tate enrolled early so he already does)
no problem. glad someone just no problem. glad someone just takes it for what it is rather than pointing out my grammar, abreviations, etc..i was just pointing out what i saw and thought i should share cuz noone else can share that insight until gameday..thought i would be nice and type everything out
you should have heard all of you should have heard all of the coaches. I think i heard more f-bombs and other swear words from them than listening to a whole album of lil wayne or gucci
brain fart i guess..it wasn't brain fart i guess..it wasn't like its the first time i have heard of him...just a simple mistake
to be honest i didnt see much to be honest i didnt see much of him because i was concentrating on other players, but the LB group did good overall..mouton stuck out to me the most
thank you and thats all i can thank you and thats all i can ask...I saw a ton of players today and its not like they had there names on them...just a simple reminder of who they were might jog my memory because i had so much info to sift through that some of it kinda blended together..so sorry i didnt remember one person until that jogged my memory because of the number.. and me asking for the number and stuff only made it easier on me to make sure i got the right player
why am i getting negged on why am i getting negged on almsot every post? someone wanna let me know what i did wrong? i am new to this
yea it was current...and yea it was current...and johnson was a tank
yea u couldnt bring in a yea u couldnt bring in a camera and u couldnt take pics with ur cell or take a phone call...u had to step out to do so
oh yeah him...i dont really oh yeah him...i dont really remember seeing him scrimmage but on the 1v1 he did pretty good...he had a breakup or two if i remember...the CB play overall looked good during the 1v1
no i dont...i didnt get a no i dont...i didnt get a chance to talk to any of the coaches cuz i had to run out right when it ended to get home..from the non coaches there and my personal oppinion though, i think williams will start (he has been impressing coaches lately) at least for a few games so vad can get his kinks worked out
number and postion for any number and postion for any questions plz...just for everyone else u know
i agree...i dont think he is i agree...i dont think he is an every down back because when he runs through the line he gets tackled but when he breaks it to the outside and LBs and DBs try and hit him he rocks them sometimes.
yea smith will be yea smith will be good...hemingway impressed me greatly today..he is very physical. . they had tay, smith, and bobo returning punts that i saw today..i might have missed a few...o yeah, martavious had a great kick return and returned it for a touchdown..it was sick...coach rod was bitching at the kickers today and screaming his head off on how noone could kick it to the ten yard line. he was like "GOD DAMNIT CAN WE GET SOMEONE WHO CAN FUCKING KICK IT TO THE TEN YARD LINE? then he yelled who just kicked and was like GET THE FUCK OUT OF THE WAY AND LET A REAL MAN KICK FOR U AND SHOW U HOW ITS DONE" they kickers did decent on field goals and made a few..i didnt see them miss any...the kickoff length was either in the endzone or not even to the ten. it was iffy...they threw to the TEs a few times during the scrimmage and koger had a very nice play.
yea he mighta just had a few yea he mighta just had a few unlucky things happen...he has great speed though... i agree with the starting lineup for safties...vlad looked lost today but i saw some potential. he was dropping balls though and that kinda set my opinion back on him..but he is still a freshmen so who knows.
i dont think we have any i dont think we have any depth but i think the starters should suffice
i am just a random person i am just a random person with connections...i dont have any professional analysis background...and besides from me watching these things happen, i had commentary from jamie morris and other college kids who help out the team..so it was from ppl who watch them all the time and have played the game at high levels
i BELIEVE that the defense i BELIEVE that the defense won. they won by one point because i dont think the last touchdown counted and i forget who scored it. some random penalty took the touchdown back i think but im not a hundred percent..it was close ...warren didnt play in it though so idk if that woulda disrupted any of the passing......i am not sure why they use a 3 down linemen front. . I just dont think they put enough pressure on the qb and when they did get through they didnt have enough guys rushing through to stop the qb from getting free...i dont think they did much blitzing what so ever...i think they were trying to give the qb a lot of reps so they didnt want to disrupt it too much.
to be honest i didnt see much to be honest i didnt see much stevie brown so from what i heard from a few guys at the practice, he has been doing good at his new position.. . The linebackers seemed pretty solid from what i saw from them (i saw mostly offense and DB...the linemen and Lbs were off in a different area and i only saw a little bit of them plus the scrimmage) Mouton played well during the scrimmage and so did ezeh...the d line did ok as a unit..graham got a sack but whenever they got through and put pressure on the QB's they would run out of the pocket. denard had a huge run and is very good at escaping pressure (along with tate).. the linebackers and safties did a good job most of the time though containing the qbs when they were forced to run.
yea i think williams should yea i think williams should start, from what i saw, cuz he was a very good tackler and we cant give up big plays like last year from broken tackles..also, he was all over the field and was constantly working and gave one hundred and ten percent every down
one of the sessions was DB VS one of the sessions was DB VS WR and he had about 4 easy picks and he dropped all of them. one of them would have been a really good interception becuase he had to re-postion his body at last second but he had his hands there but just couldnt do it. he also was making mistakes and was surely corrected via extremely loud yelling and swearing by gerg, the db coach and rrod
he was took aside more than he was took aside more than any other wr and the coaches were yelling common ur better than that cuz he wouldnt finish his route if he stumbled or something.
The michigan weight room The michigan weight room records are.... verticle jump-Carlos brown at 38.5 bench max-brandon graham at 485 220 lb rep- mike martin repped it 28 times 40 yd dash- carlos brown 4.4 i dont remember the rest..if i do, i will edit
i wouldnt neccesarily call i wouldnt neccesarily call mine a long rant, but ok...and how was that awesome? watching a grown man "freak out" on someone who roots for the same team for seven words said about how he didnt think a team was a rivalry (who isnt). shouldnt a rivalry be close every year? lets see here, minnesota has won ONCE in the past 21 years...what a team..
I appologize greatly....I had I appologize greatly....I had not seen the show by the time of that post....I have never seen a more embarassing show in my life...They call themselves college football commentators? we dont have a good running back? try one of the best in the big ten and def. top twenty in the nation
you truly have no life. u you truly have no life. u wrote out that entire thing...dont u have something better to do? and what, is every team we play a rival? i mean i understand about the jug but how many games a year should there be a rivalry with. we have ohio state which is the biggest rivalry in any sport.. we have michigan state who is an in-state rival, and we have notre dame who is a rival...we have little "fueds" with teams such as penn state who we fight with most years to win the big ten title and i would consider minnesota under this category for the jugs sake...but I mean should we have a little "orgasm" like yours if someone said they dont see penn state as a rival? Do you know anyone who looks at the schedule and keys out minnesota as a game to watch or go to because they are a rivalry? your rant was just a little much considering who we are talking about...if it was like ohio state then okay, but minnesota? come on...
why are people bitching about why are people bitching about this? IT IS MICHIGAN FOOTBALL!!!! if you dont like it then dont watch it or ruin the mood or people who will watch it. Im down shredder, just not sure what i am doing? lol
I disagree completely. you I disagree completely. you dont have to be the fastest person to be great. he is fast enough to beat most players and is elusive enough to beat the ones fast enough to catch him. I think odoms is kinda like a breaston in the way that he isnt the best WR, but one of the tops on the team . Odoms looked great at punt return ( purdue game)and i think that will be another way he will contribute to the team .Odoms did great things last year for being a freshman and having a terrible team around him...I think he will be tates second favorite WR behind roundtree. Tate and roundtree are friends and even went on a vacation together earlier this summer. So i think tate is comfortable with roundtree and will most likely go to him durring games. much like the spring game. . i understand where ur coming from but i disagree.
Yea and my sister has a Yea and my sister has a brother but i dont...
Hart was injured most of his Hart was injured most of his sophomore and senior season and he still beasted the stats..He also rarely fumbled and when he did, he would recover it. (minus the florida game, he went basically his whole career at michigan without fumbling). I think he was one ofthe best overall RB in michigan history...he didnt have the explosiveness of others but he was a trusted player and u would always feel confident on handing him the ball.
If stevie can actually tackle If stevie can actually tackle this year and not fuck up every third down, I will be a happy man. Time and time again last year he would fuck up big plays when we had them at 3 down and he would miss his tackle..resulting in either a first down, or in many cases, a touchdown.
Miller is westerns QB who Miller is westerns QB who throws for 350 yards a game...he is on the list for best QB in the country..he is good, our secondary is young and unproven..that can mean bad things
i was talking to the guy who i was talking to the guy who said they also got blown out by rice...and that means that this isnt some bullshit team...
