One of the best football/life books I have ever read, Our Boys, a true story about a small-town Kansas football team/town and how they are essentially inseperable. The book is $0.01 used on amazon, definitely worth it. I have never rooted for a team so hard that I had no real attachment to (and in which the games had been played years prior).
Might be a bit late to the party here, but I got married to my wife at the Ann Arbor City Club in August of '14. It was a great venue, the planner there was very helpful and everything was very nice (and reasonably priced). I can't recommend it enough, we looked all over the city and that was the only place we could make sure our guests had good access to bars without having the wedding at Charley's (that was for the rehersal).
I'm in the same position and I just called to see if I could add another (I bought 3, would love a 4th). The woman who answered the phone was able to tell me where my seats are, give them a call and find out!
My wife and I got married in Ann Arbor the weekend before football season started. We took our wedding pictures on the field of Michigan Stadium, played catch with my bride to be before our wedding in the endzone where we beat Notre Dame in UTL1.
We had a fairly small wedding with only people we knew personally (no friends of friends/parents), but the one thing I wish I had done more was just be with my wife, you will get pulled in a million directions, take time out to be with her.
We made our own desserts to save money, got our own flowers, each saved a lot of money (if not time).

I called the ticket office today and got my seat assignment (I am a new season ticket holder as well). You should give it a try tomorrow and see.
