Nike/UA

I for one want Michigan to go back to Nike or move to UA. The gear I have from Nike has held up well and still looks relatively new. The similar Adidas items that I have bought have faded and fallen apart. Their quality seems to be bad.

I remember the Michigan basketball jersey fiasco a few seasons ago and that alone would have made me walk away from Adidas if I was in the Athletic Department.

Qb clinic Harbaugh mentions he didn't at the start of his qb clinic on YouTube - http://youtu.be/B7-9kQJ1_sI

Wouldn't hurt to have the head of the college football playoff committee as our AD either!

Dierdorf

I always liked to hear him call a football game.  I definitely hope he can work some Michigan games in the future.  A well deserved retirement and I hope he is around the Michigan program a lot.  GO BLUE!

Coaching change

I still don't know about OC but I'd for sure drop Funk as O-line.

Away games

Interesting thought...drop the tickets next year and just tailgate for the home games (we have a dish) if I don't feel like scalping.  Then I could actually go to the (away) games that I'd want to see...it's @nd, @msu, @nw, @osu.  All driveable places and wouldn't necessarily require an overnight stay.

*EDIT - I forgot about @rutgers...not interested in that one!  sorry B1G (I don't want to see them or Maryland)

PSDs

I finally got my very own season tickets this year after years of buying them off of other people.  I donated more than the $500 for the "Interest List" to ensure I got seats and although I planned to have 2 seats, they offered 4 so I took them.  I've gone to every game and sold almost every seat except for 2 tickets so far.  But looking at next year's exciting home schedule and thinking about how I struggled to always find 3 others to go to a game this season, I was leaning on giving up 2 of the seats.  I would like to keep 4 tickets but then I received my PSD renewal in the mail...

The problem I have is that my seats are in Section 6 which it shows the section is split (half being $75/seat PSD and half $200/seat PSD).  My seats are in the middle of the row/section and when I opened my PSD renewal I was greated with a nice $800 bill ($200/seat).  The whole PSD thing doesn't really bother me but the fact that the guy sitting directly next to me who also has season tickets may only get charged $75/seat while I get charged $200/seat for the same seats doesn't make sense.  Why would you not split the $$$ designations by whole sections?  There is a $500 swing by me getting the $200 PSD as opposed to the $75.  I need to talk to the athletic department.  Worst case scenario: I drop down to 2 seats.  Best case: I negotiate my way into other seats with a $75 PSD.  I wouldn't even be opposed to a higher PSD if I could be closer to the 50yd line.

Reading all the comments in this thread though has made me consider dropping them all together.  The secondary market has been reasonably priced and with next year's home schedule so unappealing, maybe I should drop them and get them back in 2015.  Decisions, Decisions...

Practice I stopped over by Bright House Field today to see if I could catch some of the practice at the DiMaggio Complex. The team came and dressed then reboarded the busses to go practice at another location. It appeared that some maintenance work was being done and were unable to practice there. I heard they were heading to Tampa Jesuit HS but I didn't follow as it started to downpour rain. Not sure what other days they are practicing or where but that may be where future practices are as the team is moving hotels closer to Raymond James.
Ticketmaster

As soon as Michigan was locked into the game I bought tickets on ticketmaster for $75/ticket + fees.  I'll be visiting my parents in Tampa then so it's a win-win as all I had to do was get tickets to see the team.  I am going to look at the tickets that I can get through the Alumni Association though as I'm in the corner of the endzone (section 102) and would like to try to move closer to the 50.

I welcome more points as an alum.  I've been buying season tickets off of someone else who has a few pair for the last few years.  I'd love to get my own and maybe not sit in the endzone every season.

Winged Helmet I am in the process of making my own cornhole set and wanted to make it with the winged helmet as well. I wanted it to look like you were looking head-on at the helmet. Here is a freehand drawing I did of it. I will probably make the outer lines curved so they look like they'd meet at a point at the back. http://www.mediafire.com/file/nzzjnxmm3qy/helmet.png Let me know what you think. I drew this quickly in paint while at work.
