Appropriate punishment. Time to move on now.

That's what I expected. No big deal. I'm glad its not more than a game.

Cuz he totally failed with that elbow. He needed more torque and didn't land it squarely enough on that suckeye's face. And no blood was drawn. Definitely needs to work on that move.

Agreed. Appropriate and proportionate.

The nastiest elbow that I've ever seen in a basketball game is the one that Karl Malone put on Isaiah Thomas back in '90 or '91. I think Zeke ended up with 60 stitches or something

dislike for Karl Malone intensified. I remember the blood gushing out of Zeke head like a water fountain,Karl had a look on his face like...who me!

It was '91. That summer, John Stockton had been chosen for the Dream Team over Isiah, even though Isiah had definitely had a better NBA career to that point (the rumor was that Jordan refused to play with Isiah, so they picked Stockton instead). In the first meeting after that, Isiah destroyed Stockton, scoring something like 45 points. Then in the next game between them, Malone "protected" Stockton by going for Isiah's head.

Nice 'bow buddy. He is cementing his basketball legacy as a "scrapper", which is a common term which also means "white".
