Not too different than the men's this year, in my opinion. Lost a floor leader who wasn't a big scorer (Krista Clement) from the previous class. Had a powerful senior scorer (Jessica Minnfield) who wasn't a vocal leader. Had a talented underclassman trying to take a leadership position (Veronica Hicks) but it just didn't really jell.
Great to see the women getting it together so well so far this season. Really rough road swing here, too.

Krista Phillips wasn't 100% last year, at least at the start of the season and they missed Ashley Jones as well.
Things don't get any easier - they face number 8 ranked Xavier in Cincinnati on Monday night

I post so rarely that I can't (yet) start new threads, but wanted to note that Michigan upset #12 Xavier on the road 72-71 - easily the teams biggest road win in years.
