Where is GoBlueBBQ?
So hopefully I join alum from across the globe in saying I really enjoy a tailgate and doing so using MGOBBQ's recipes. Those posts/concoctions were awesome. It looks like posts/comments from the beloved searer of meats stopped in late 2019. I cannot imagine what happened in late November of that year to cause such a thing, but who knows, right? Did he/they enter a BBQPONE (Black Barbecue Pit of Neverending Enui)? Is he part of......idk....feugobox?
Seriously, if I am missing something obvious lmk. I searched for posts/comments and even thought of hijacking a thread. Instead I did this so feel free to downvote. This is a legit concern for the MGOpeeps.

MGoBBQ (a/k/a Joe Pichey) is still active on Instagram, though not as much as before. Fuego Box and Lantana sponsored his prior contributions. Per Seth, their departure as sponsors stopped his contributions. Until and unless MGoBlog finds another sponsor that aligns with MGoBBQ, we will just have to satisfy ourselves with his past posts. I, for one, will be smoking a nine-pound pork shoulder this weekend.

I’ve done many of his recipes or modified and they always a hit. Amazing contributions he did to MGoBlog and do miss his write ups.

I just opened a new restaurant but if I find time ive got some good recipes laying around from my time at hogsalt and green street smoked meats and could throw together a post. Maybe I’ll toss the bavette’s chocolate cream pie recipe in there too!
