Weekend Trifecta, MSU Loss, OSU Loss, M Win. To hell with ND.

Okay, admittedly it's not as great as last year's Thanksgiving Saturday Quadfecta.

But ND isn't really a rival anymore because they're too chicken to play us and will only play easier teams like Ohio State, I'll take a trifecta any weekend.

Any Historians around here that have curated lists of trifectas and quadfectas?

Going to invoke the gambling dictionary police for a second here.  4 horses in a row is a Superfecta.  Quadfecta isn't a thing as far as I know, but I get what you are saying.

The day Woodson won the Heisman we also beat Duke in basketball.  That is a curated exacta in my book.

Just using latin roots rather than superlative prefixes.  This allows for the possibility of even higher numbers if more teams become 'rivals' such as Oregon, USC, etc.

I mean what's bigger than super?  Hyper?  Super-Super?

Also who knows anything about horse betting?  Might as well use golf terminology if you're just going to make up non-scientific prefixes.

Quadfectas are extremely rare, unfortunately.  To my knowledge, the last time it happened was September 12, 2009...

Notre Dame lost to Michigan 38-34 (The Tate Forcier to Greg Mathews game winner)

MSU lost to Central Michigan 29-27

Ohio State lost to USC 18-15 at the Horseshoe.
