Wallpaper Season - Maryland

I'll do a full write up in a diary later, but I wanted to drop these so people could have two days with a wallpaper for this week. Sorry for the week off guys, my computer was giving me all sorts of fits that I narrowed down to a driver incompatibility in Win 10. ANYWAY, enjoy, more tomorrow.

Also, FYI, the tassel did not originally do that. I used "Puppet Warp" in Photoshop to change how it was laying so that it would cover it up. I'd already rasterized the game detail text and applied blur to it, so I didn't want to have to redo it. You have no idea how much I love that someone noticed the change. Haha.

That was actually not a sun, but supposed to be a gold-foil'ish medallion for the book cover a la The Newbery or Caldecott awards. I'd planned on having some of the game details inside it embossed, but I liked how it looked only partially there. It filled the empty corner space perfectly. All-in-all, it did end up kind of looking like a sun, so here's hoping!
