Visiting Bo's Grave Saturday

Submitted by MichiganPhotoRod on

Don't forget to pay a visit to Bo's grave tomorrow.  BEAT OHIO.

EDIT:

To find Bo's grave at Forrest Hill Cemetery, enter the cemetery on Observatory and head toward the back right (or southeast) of the cemetery.  The grave is located along the second parallel road away from Geddes.

To find Fielding Yost's and Bob Ufer's grave, stay to the back of the cemetery but head to the opposite side (or to the northeast).  This appears to be the highest point of the entire cemetery.  Look for a circular section.  Yost is inside the circular section and Ufer is directly across the drive from Yost.  Facing North, Ufer will be on the left and Yost on the right.  Both have grey granite upright monuments.  Ufer has a block M in one corner of his.

Those of us who grew up learning and loving Ufer and Bo help keep their history alive, with Ufer and Bo giving us the history of Yost.

The true Michigan Men will come out tomorrow in honor of Bo. We've got a great guy at the helm and he's ready to prove Bo's statement to be true. Go Blue. Beat Ohio

In relation to Bo's headstone.  I went to the cemetery several years ago, saw Bo's grave.  Noted that Millie's name is not on the headstone with him, but Cathy.  Millie is buried very close by.  Couldn't find either Yost or Ufer, though have been told they are in vicinity of Bo.  Where are they?

Today is anniversary of Biakabutuka running wild over the Buckeyes!

Love that video. Anyone else think time is standing still--maybe even going backward? Down to about 19 1/2 hours now. Then a damn good shot at sweet, sweet redemption.

So you're going to stake-out Bo's grave in order to meet former players (or his widow)?  Some of you boys have waaaaaay too much time on your hands.

No, I was truly interested if any players were going to the game tomorrow without getting to off topic and stealing the thread. I've also never been to bo's grave and just curious if anyones ever seen any former players there while going to visit. Is it so bad to ask? I can see how someone may interpret it how you thought though.

Are you serious about visiting his gravesite. Talk about too much time on your your hands. And remember his name was Glenn. I often wonder just how famous Glenn and Woodrow would have been if their names were, e.g.,Tom and Bill. also
<br> Why did this great "Michigan man" leave Michigan to go to the Detroit Tigers? Perhaps $$$$$$. Even he had his price.

Why don't you answer my questions instead of calling me dumb? Just how many M football games did you go to or watch from '69 to '89? By the way I went to the U, was born and raised and lived in Ann Arbor until 2005. You Glenn worshipers are blind to just what Glenn was truly about. An arrogant, know it all bully who beat up on the little eight but had just 5'wins against 12 losses in Bowl games and I think 10-10-1 against osu. This is the record of a "legend"????.

What don't I get? Why don't you answer my questions? Your blind allegiance to Glenn tells me you're the dumb one here. Here's another remember for you. 21 yrs NO national championships ! At least Woodrow won 3 national championships.
