Ok, is this worth a 3.5 hr drive? I hate Ohio that much. I would like to drive my family out of Ohio to enjoy something like this. Can someone comment? happy Thanksgiving.

Is this a new event? Never heard about it before. I think it is a *fantastic* idea.
As such, I can't recommend because I've never heard about it before. But I will say this, Michigan Theater is the single best theater in the country, in my opinion. Old, classic, comfortable, high-quality and always doing community events like this.
If I lived back home, I would be there for sure. Seeing that I'm in Korea, I don't feel like it is worth the $1.5K air ticket and 24 hour travel. But 3 1/2 hours? That is a long trip, but I bet it will be a great event.

I love the Michigan Theater, but it is NOT the most comfortable theater in the country if you are over six feet two...the leg room is insufficient for the 21st century American male.

I blame high fructose corn syrup.

Thanks for the info....this actually sounds pretty awesome! My normal tailgate and just about everyone I know is out off town, so this should beat watching the game alone. Anyone else thinking about going?

It's a very family-friendly deal. I was told that there will be a separate theater set aside for the kids, who among other things will be entertained with magic tricks by Kenny Magee, the owner of the memorabilia shop Eric and I visited a few weeks ago.
