Beilein has officially become the greatest coach in Michigan basketball history. Even without a championship he has surpassed every other coach IMO

Wisconsin is a good team and Michigan led for almost the entire game and for most of that time Michigan led by near double digits.  Every time Wisconsin tried to reel them in in, they pulled away.  The looked in control of the game for the entire game.  Not many teams do that to Wisconsin.

They show a graphic at one point that shows the time Wisconsin had trailed for the rest of the tournament (6:32 or something IIRC) and how much they'd trailed in the, at the time, current game against Michigan (nearly the entire thing).

Pretty amazing. That was a damn good Wisconsin team and Michigan took 'em to school. There was even a point towards the end where Wisconsin looked like they had gotten so frustrated that they could no longer control themselves and our guys just poured it on.

I thought that stat was interesting, too. They put on a clinic during the Big Ten tourney. They're really controlling games from the tip. Absolutely thrilled with how this team has come together, and I just really hope they can keep it up. These guys have come a long way, and I really loved seeing the joy on their faces as they started to realize they had taken the fight out of Wisconsin and iced the game. I will be very bummed if this team can't make some noise in the NCAA tourney, but I'll also be able to look back and be happy with what they were able to do.

I think this team may have Final Four potential, really. They've got several makings of a successful tourney team. There's excellent guard play, a high-powered offense, they're hot at the right time, and they share a region with master chokers KU. You never know what will happen, but I like our odds here.

Wilson's Dunk at 1:05:49 was fantastic.  It was at that point last night that I began to celebrate our 1st B1G Tourney Championship since the inaugural Tractor Trailer championship.

It is no secret that the defensive improvements have been a major key in generating the turnaround this season. Rightfully so, people tend to mention the three point defense as a big contributor, but I think the rotations are more astonishing.

In the first half of the game yesterday, Xavier dove on the ground to try and get a steal, and it lead to a 4 on 5 opportunity in the front court, and both Wilson and MAAR ended up rotating to the top of the key and left Hayes (I think) wide open for a dunk, and I thought, "Huh, that is the first time I have seen miscommunication on the defensive end in quite some time." Which is unbelievable based on how this team was playing earlier in the year.

I don't know how many times I have seen Robinson or MAAR dive down to defend a post entrance and still instinctively rotate out to a 3 point shooter on the swing pass. And they are not alone. The anticipation, communication, and teamwork on the defensive end has been a sight to see, and I just wanted to mention it because they certainly deserv to be appreciated for their efforts! Let's keep this train rolling, beat OSU!
