Submitted by massblue on

NFL ranked the top 100 players and here are the number college teams with players among the top 100.

Alabama (5), Georgia (5), Oklahoma (4), Stanford (4), USC (4), Wisconsin (4), Michigan (3), Florida State (3), LSU (3), Ohio State (3), Pittsburgh (3), Texas A&M (3), Iowa (2), MSU (2), ND (2), Purdue (2), PSU (2)

I think this could change after this year.

I didnt look at the list, as as to test my knowledge. and im lazy. Drew Brees is the obvious Purdue for player -- and he hardly counts cuz he went there when they were good. (or they were good cuz he went there, maybe). who is the other boilermaker-- kerrigan?

I'm surprised that Kerrigan is not on there. He's a 2x Pro-Bowler (2012, 2016), and had 11 sacks, 2 FFs, and 2 PDs last year. Josh Norman and Kerrigan are the only reasons that Redskins defense didn't completely collapse all year.

Crazy? You need to get around a little. That's because blue collar talent is overlooked. NDSU waltzes into KSU, Iowa, among others and wins. With who? Guys like Chad Greenway are the only guys to ever come out of South Dakota and I played against dozens of guys who would've lit him up like an Xmas tree. Had 6 or 7 on my team alone. His daddy was somebody in Stickney, SD. Politics and daddy knew someone at Iowa. Kids in certain parts of the country don't have the football exposure like Texas, Florida or anywhere down south also. Go out to West River South Dakota once and you'll find 6'3" men in their teens who are chizled and fast as the wind. They raise and work with thousands of heads of cattle since they learned to walk. If some of these kids get in a program with descent coaching, they come up. We're all only human and there aren't that many Jabrill Peppers and McCaffrey's running around. These boys take down 250 lb. animals daily that are faster than any JT Barrett or Curtis Samuels any day of the year.

I think Darboh has a better chance from those 4 than Butt, maybe as good a chance as Taco. Darboh is a physical specimen and still improving as a receiver. I think he will have a good career.

I think Taco will have a solid first year but not top 100 type. He is still reaching his potential too. In a year or two he should be one of the better pass rushers in the league.

Pep probably has the best rookie year of the bunch, just because he'll get the most use in Cleveland. I'm not sold on him already being in the top 100 next year, but he will probaby get the best shot at it.

He plays guard in the NFL, which isn't a valed position in the NFL. Unless Glasgow is good enough to jump past one of Yanda, Martin, or Decastro (the only 3 in the top 100), it is unlikely that he can make it onto the list.

The best bet is probably Pep, as others have pointed out. Mostly because of his big play ability in the return game. Tyreek Hill is in the 30's after one year, with pretty average offensive numbers, but his big play ability has just sky rocketed his value. Hopefully Jabrill can duplicate that.
