There are...
...days until Bill Laskey (LB 1962-1964) supports Michigan Football in spirit as it begins its 2022 against the Rams of Colorado State at the Big House on September 3rd.

Go Blue!
Laskey was a part of Michigan's "forgotten" National Championship his senior year. Speaking of underrated accomplishments, #83 is also Erick All's number as you will see below. I will say no more.

Just looked at the board sidebar and panicked, thinking I double posted.
I didn't, just an insanely quiet day...
These posts function as grocery dividing sticks for each day on the MGoBoard, and it's interesting sometimes.
ALL-righty then.
Bill Laskey had a nice pro career and was the starting linebacker for the Raiders in SB II, playing for coach Madden. After football he became a Ford dealer down in his hometown of Milan, and later in Georgia. Unfortunately he passed away not very long ago. RIP Bill.
The ‘64 team was a great team. Rose Bowl champs with Mel Anthony setting the record for longest TD run.
