Thanks for sharing this. I watched both videos and found myself thinking that it seems highly unlikely that the brand of football played back then would ever be able to achieve so highly today.
I know we do still play that way, but the sheer brute force Michigan dominated that game and other games of that season with just doesn't seem to be possible anymore. It's much more of a speed game now with little slot bugs and mobile QBs.
I know, I know, Get off my lawn and all that.
