Thank you, Stevie Brown; you are a true Michigan Man

I doubt Stevie Brown reads this blog, but if he does I hope he sees the other words of encouragement for the team or seniors as a group. I also hope he reads this. Stevie Brown has been much maligned throughout his career. But he has really thrived this year, though, and I think we can't let this season close without saying thanks to him too. He could have given up, but he got back up when he got knocked down and he made some great plays this year and in particular today in his last game, killing several OSU drives on 3rd down. I also appreciate that he could keep a smile on his face throughout every interview this year. Thanks, Stevie. You are a Michigan Man and you have made everyone associated with Michigan proud today and this season. You and the rest of the seniors made it possible for Michigan to begin its resurrection.

The players must know that we (fans) can be assholes at times. But we love our team, and moments like this give us the opportunity to remember that we are all "on" the same team. This year's seniors hopefully will be looked upon as the men who helped build the program when the immediate rewards were not likely to be there for them. Thank you Steve, and all of the seniors. You gave 100% every week. You should be as proud as any player who came before you.

That is a good point. Everyone, me included, has just crushed Williams, Mouton and Ezeh this year. They made mistakes. But they also kept playing despite the boos and the call-outs in the media. I think they will be better next year; 3-4s are complicated and another camp or two will help. Even if they are not, it wasn't fair of everyone to trash these kids the way they did. I hope they stick around and prove the doubters wrong. Those three deserve our thanks too. They're not getting paid and they took a lot of crap. But they stayed, and they will be champions soon enough.

I've had the same thought numerous times this year. #3 turned into a real playmaker this year and I'm glad to see his career end with a good personal performance, if not a win.

Brown played well today and most of the season. Good luck to him and if you know him, thank him for putting up with the BS and trying hard.

Safety Stevie often angered me, but he had a great year. He showed up and played hard every game. I always thought he looked good when he wasn't in coverage at safety so this position really allowed him to thrive. Good for him, I will miss him.

I really believe you have a chance in the NFL. I've always thought of you as a player like Tom Brady-you just keep getting better and better and better. Thanks for towing the line with the coaching change, can't wait to see you playing on Sunday. Good Luck-Your now a Michigan Man forever.
