Stream East FTW

Yeah, I’m shocked more people don’t know about this. (And it looks shady AF — lots of popups and unwanted redirects, even with ad-blockers installed — but it’s harmless.)
Stream East has pretty much every sporting event streaming for free. Only thing missing is ability to do replays. If it had that, I wouldn’t pay a cent for anything linear on television.

Any site that contains pirated content concerns me- to each their own.

YouTube?
I watch a lot of college football there.

I have a Sports Urge. Or maybe it was a Sport Surge?

as a Spectrum user, ABC still works for me
also, I found I got plenty of CFB action without ESPN so take off what they pay ESPN from my cable bill now that Michigan isn't associated with ESPN - I am good

I think Disney has more to blame than Spectrum. Disney has been in decline for a few years now. Bob Iger is living in the 2000s when Disney could command any price they want. Now there is so much competition.
Spectrum is just the "middle man" in the whole operation.

They're equally to blame. To put their economic objectives over the interests of the consumers represents a massive failure on both Disney and Charter, as they continue to blame each other for the mess.

Spectrum subscribers still have access to ABC. It's the ESPN content that's blocked

I don't have it. I get the same message as I do on ESPN.
I don't understand why you would have access it, if it's Disney-owned network. I'm not saying you're lying, but I have no access to all of Disney-owned networks.

ABC is still a “free” over the air channel. You could theoretically get it by attaching an antenna to your tv. (Depending on your proximity to a broadcast tower).
All that to say, it is a special form of asshattery if indeed Spectrum has stopped sending a free signal to paying customers due to contract negotiations.

I watched the LSU/FSU game last night on my local ABC channel (WJRT/ABC 12 Flint) on my spectrum cable. Not using any antenna what so ever. Here's a list of all Disney Channels I'm not receiving.
espn, espn 2, espnu and world, Fox Movie, FX, FXX, Disney, National Geo, Freeform, Wild channel, Disney Jr, and also for some reason the SEC and ACC conference channels. Not sure how those 2 are tied in with Disney but I lost those as well

ESPN/Disney “own” SEC and ACC networks similar to how FOX ”owns” B1G Network.

The eight local ABC stations owned by Disney are subject to the negotiations and went dark. They're mostly in big cities: Chicago isn't a spectrum town but New York and LA are.
