especially on the team rankings. Tom VH and others have discussed this extensively over the past few weeks.
They had us at like 15th - strange formula.

It is possible that we only have the 15th best class though. We've had worse.

Same way about North Carolina, they came oout of nowhere this season. Werent they 1-10 few yrs ago?

They were 10-1 the season before I believe, then Mack Brown left for Texas. If you've ever been to Chapel Hill, you'd understand how UNC can easily become a budding superpower in football.

UNC is a great school and has a nice campus, but it has some institutional hurdles to overcome. It shares a state with three other ACC programs, plus East Carolina, and its own fanbase tends to regard football as something to pass the time before the #1 sport (basketball) starts. With the right coach they can be a regular bowl team, but I don't see them ever becoming a truly elite program. A coach that brings them to the brink (like Mack Brown) will get offers from more prestigious programs and leave.

how so? nice campus? hot girls? fanbase?
