Sponsor Note: Another Unofficial Watch Party at Regents Field (the Bar)
Let's do it again.
My friends (and longtime readers/HTTV backers) recently got their bar open--Regent's Field on Main Street in downtown Ann Arbor. We had a good time there last week (thanks to those who bought me beers) so we figured we'd have another. Hope to see you there.
About Regents Field:
This is the bar (at the site of old Cafe Felix) where we tried to have Football Eve, but they ran into some issues getting open in time for that. We went there again with the Sklar Brothers after their show a few weeks ago. Zack Novak, Zoltan Mesko, and Rick Leach's son are part-owners; my friend Jacqui used to run the New York alumni association. Anyway it seems to be a good fit for our crowd (historical, good food and beer selection, not super loud, free skee ball). Jamie Morris has been doing his pod from there.

Interesting that Matt Leach doesn't even get named as an owner. He just gets Rick Leach's son. He is on the radio with Morris.
The rent for a building on Main St must be incredible.

Sorry to say something bad about a sponsor, but I don't see this place staying in business long with it's current orientation. A sports bar with 6 TVs isn't really a sportsbar.

hey goblue234 - I'd love it if you reach out ( [email protected]) to discuss your experience at Regents Field. We do have 13 tvs, and made sure every seat in the house has a great view of a tv.

Went there a week ago and they were having logistic issues with getting their food and beverages, some of the things on the menu weren't available and they didn't have their signature cocktailsu on the menu due to missing ingredients, hopefully they've worked out the kinks

Also, not sure what your mean by not super loud, they had the volume turned up waaaaay too loud while I was in there, almost couldn't hold a conversation on a Thursday evening

Went there last night for my first time, GREAT drinks, very friendly staff, I’ll be back.
