Shuttle from Webber Inn/Restaurant

Just wondered if anyone has used their service and how it worked out. Where did they drop you off and pick you up? How was it after the game as far as the traffic and getting back to Webber? Thanks.

We have done several times while staying at Weber's.  Most recently for MSU game this year.  No issues. Drop off near Crisler and pickup same. Look for West shuttle.  Can be a little wait after game for next shuttle.  With traffic, seemed to take about 20-30 min each way.

Thanks so much. We missed out on Pioneer parking for the MSU game so we parked at private residence on Pauline which was ok but a nightmare getting out. Heard about Weber’s parking deal and decided to try it this week.
Years and years of attending games and until just recently heard about Weber.

Have taken the bus from Weber's for years.  It's great!  The buses are reliable.  AA Transit typically has four or five on the route.  Check their website for the starting time.  The only downside is after a close game when most fans stay until the end.  If all those who took the bus to the game descend upon the bus stop to return at the same time, it can be a long wait for those who arrive there very late.  But for a $3 roundtrip fare compared to $$$ for parking near the stadium, it's impossible to complain.

As Harmon said above, buses leave passengers in front of Crisler so it's an easy walk to Gate 2.  The pickup point is just west of Gate 2.  There is a "West" bus sign there.  Of course, if getting on at Weber's isn't convenient for you, there is a South bus from the Briarwood area, an East bus from (I think) the Plymouth Road-23 area, and a Downtown bus from somewhere in Downtown.  I think that's all of them.  Again, check the AA Transit website for more info.

The buses load up totally, not just every seat but all standing room space from front to back as well. It also provides a quick way to get out of the stadium area and on the road.  I am a senior so applied for a senior pass several years ago.  I ride for free!  Fun to get to meet others as well.  Of course, there are very few enemy fans on the bus since most wouldn't know about it unless they stay at Weber's.  Try it!

Parking might be an issue.  I've heard that Weber's charges for parking if you're not staying there.  I park on a little service drive that parallels Jackson just east of Weber's and that's free and typically available.  I actually get on the bus opposite of that area at the Wyndham Hotel, the stop before Weber's (the bus arrives there empty).  (don't tell anyone about that; the word is getting around and the lines are getting longer there for the last few games.)

Super easy.  Drop right at the stadium.  Depending on when you leave the game the return can get a little busy.  But hopefully everyone will be in a great mood after the beating and no one will care about the wait.

Seriously, it is a great shuttle service.  This from a guy that is typically critical of shuttles.

We take a shuttle from Weber’s almost every game. It’s a great way to go if the hardcore tailgating days are behind you.

The buffet is excellent though we usually order off the menu.

Be advised that Weber’s website states that reservations are required on game days.
