Senior Bowl Fan Week (Mobile, AL)

Since I moved to Mobile couple months ago. One of the first things I had to go is Senior Bowl Fan Week. There were over 65 players there to do signing for the fans. I got to the building around 5:30AM in the morning was about 30th person in the line. The gate doesn't open until 3:00PM. But, in the end it was worth it. There was supposed to 6 Michigan players there to do signing. Only three show up... Shae, Metellus, and Uche! It was unbelievable long line was standing by for Jalen Hurts. As you know it was in Alabama and he was Alumni from U of Alabama make sense to it. Here some photos to share with y'all. I am already looking forward for next year and get more Michigan players to sign my Winged helmet.

There were Lion Cheerleaders there as well. I blacked out the kids to respect their privacy.

My S2 was in the area and went to the game for something to do on Saturday.  He just showed up and discovered that the game was sold out.  Couldn't believe it.  He wasn't about to pay a scalper's price for a ticket to the Senior Bowl, so he went elsewhere.

That story you mentioned about the long line for Jalen Hurts reminds me a bit of the story Chad Henne told about his Capital One Bowl experience. I think he had his own table set up for media day where journalists and fans could come approach him with questions, sign autographs, etc. There were a few Michigan fans who trickled in and out, but he's set up right next to Tim Tebow's table, and I think Henne said something to the effect of losing count for how many people flooded to Tebow's table after a short time period.

Made sense. Tebow was the Heisman winner that year, the game was more or less in Gainesville's own backyard, and he was the media darling of college football. The All-American football player and good Christian boy who every dad would want to have dating his daughter.

I'm guessing Henne used that as motivation in the game. And it worked.

Welcome to Mobile!

I live across the bay and commute here daily. They used to have the north practice over in Fairhope but stopped several years back. That was always cool to see the players and they'd spend time aster answering questions or signing autographs.
