Semi-OT: Presale tickets to March Madness at the Palace are available
I received an email from Michigan Basketball stating that presale tickets for the 2nd & 3rd round games of the NCAA Tournament, at the Palace of Auburn Hills, are now available. Tickets start at $150 a pop. Click HERE and enter "GOBLUE" in the Special Offers and Promotions field to get access to tickets. Here's hoping that we get to play our first 2 games close to home!
Also: I'm not sure what session these tickets will be for, as they don't show on the "subtotal" page. I haven't bought any because I don't have the extra cash now, so I can't confirm.

So, I guess Michigan will be automatically slotted in the AH region if they make the tournament. Just like hockey is automatically going to GR if they make the NCAA Tournament since they are the host.
Nice to keep everything close.

are a top seed, I believe. They will not automatically be at the Palace just by virtue of making the Tourney.

Top 3 (sometimes top-4) seeds are "protected". If we are a 5 seed or lower any chance of playing at the Palace is shot.

Wow, tickets start at $150? I saw the 2d round here in Cleveland two years ago and I am pretty sure I didn't have to pay nearly that much for upper level seats. They were probably in the $75 range. Is that the price for the entire weekend? If it is only for a 2 game session, it's a lot.
Those rounds are really fun to see the random teams from around the country -- like the 8-9 seed matchups. However, that's a lot to put out for an unknown set of teams. I wouldn't assume that Michigan will be at the Palace. Too many things can happen that will affect the seeding. Of course, you might be lucky, but it is a gamble if you are expecting to see Michigan.

How many games did you see when you were there? I am trying to figure out how many games this ticket will include. Is it three games? The winners of the 2nd round game and 3rd round game also?

Anyone else notice the one and only Lloyd Brady taking center stage in the photo included with the e-mail.

Ticketmaster just shows dates of Thurs - Sat rounds 2 and 3.
I am just trying to wrap my head around how many games on what days this includes before I buy. Seems like there would be four games thurs, four games fri, two games sat and two games sunday. This can not be for all of those...
