Season record for visiting bands?
In light of last weekend's game and the NCAA's notice of inquiry, I thought we should delve into a truly hot topic. Does 2009 set the record for most visiting bands in the Big House?
We'll have:
Western Michigan
Notre Dame
Eastern Michigan
Delaware State
Penn State
Ohio State
Does anybody know if we've had 6 (or more) visiting marching bands in one year?

Last I heard, Purdue was coming also. So if you count the Alumni Band at Homecoming, it's eight home games=eight bands. And yes, that sets the indoor and outdoor record for visiting bands.

I'd bet it is some kind of record. What other stadium/program/venue is circle-you-on-the-schedule important, plus has the space, plus has had 8 home games?
Someone should get Guinness on this, while they're not trying to figure out the most live rattlesnakes held in your mouth at the same time.
EDIT: OK so maybe that joke sucked. I couldn't find a clip of the puppy that set the official world record popping 100 balloons in 57 seconds. Bad substitute.

I kinda wish we'd given ND the opera music and done something a bit more on the crunk side for Delaware State.

It's as close to a guarantee you can get that Guinness has been involved in every game this year. Just ask any student -- especially those returning the bottles to the grocery store on Sunday.
