Season opener and Akron game time & network set
Season opener against central will be, yet another, 3:30pm start.
Akron on 9/14 will be at Noon (yay).
Both will be on BTN. First time in quite awhile Michigan's season opener hasn't been on ABC despite the opponent. I rather not mention the last time it wasn't.

I just can't stand waiting for later games. Feels like an eternity.
We want more games played later because it gives us more TV viewers and more money. But we must keep The Game at noon, even though it's our biggest game of the year. Something isn't adding up.
I guess it must be tradition, right? You can't play The Game in prime time. We don't like breaking with tradition, unless it involves mutilating our conference, breaking up rivalries, playing on Thursday night, or altering the greatest uniforms in sports to look like bumblebee costumes.
