More Henning on KR, less Corum.
And Jake, it's between the uprights, buddy.

Seems like a good policy, especially now.

A short punt and the missed field goal that could've sealed it is unfortunate.

Kickoffs were great, keeping Crookshanks without runbacks. Overall edge to Michigan punting and punt returns. Hope we learned something with Moody missing field goal late after Rutgers missed one earlier.

Something missing and there's a lot more to work on. Moody misses his first FG attempt which is how the 2nd half went. Be careful using Corum too much. Roman Wilson also has good leg speed.
Punting was good and they had a lot work in the 2nd half with all of those 3 and outs.
They get an A-.

Jay Harbaugh, the one coach whose unit looks well prepared on a consistent basis.

Can't blame Moody for the miss, that's what always happens when you pre-settle for FGs.

Really? And this is being upvoted? You can’t blame the kicker for missing a very makable field goal to put the game out reach? I don’t know if this was sarcasm or something but this is a bad take barring a bad snap or hold. Moody was kicking from the middle of the field and pushed it right. The moment seemed too big for him when things were going bad for his team…aren’t good kickers supposed to a good security blanket when the offense sputters a little? Why does every little thing have to be the fault of the coaches? Even kickers missing relatively routine middle of the field kicks.
FYI, I know based on a distance perspective it’s not the easiest kick in the world, but it was middle of the field and within his range, no reason to blame coaching for this.

FWIW, the wind yesterday was wonky. It was pushing and pulling kicks all over the place.

It's somewhat sarcastic but based on an observation, that when teams get into FG range and stop trying to play offense many times the FG is a miss. I've seen it multiple times under Harbaugh, the last time we played Rutgers as a matter of fact.
