Roh/Lewan

Just wondered if Chaparal High had any one noteable for the 2010 class (Tom?), and if we have a decent chance of getting them because of Roh and Lewan? And will Roh and Lewan contribute next season?

I can't say for sure about prospects for next year, but I've seen Chaparral several times in the last few years and I can tell you that Roh should be a pretty decent player -- probably not a superstar, but a solid starter -- and I think he'll play some as a freshman. Lewan is an almost certain redshirt, he's something like 6'6" 270 pounds, and everyone says the big things he needs to work on are strength and run blocking. He's a great athlete, but probably not physically ready to play as a freshman.

I'm not sure about 2010, but their running back, Dwayne Garrett is good. He's going to be a junior next year, and was the starting running back on varsity as a sophomore. I saw him play, and he is fast! He scored about 5 touchdowns in one game, I think 2 were called back for holding penalties. I know their was someone from Georgia there watching him, not sure about anyone else.
