Actually I have seen several decade previews that mention a Michigan resurgence. Namely Mark Schlabach's 20 things the next decade holds.

Unfortunately Schlabach also predicts the resurgence will be without Rodriguez.. Here's to hoping that part of his prediction is wrong

Ya, I read that too. That's what was nice about rittenberg's prediction is he left out anything about rodriguez being gone

I do not care who the coach is if that is to happen. Sure, I love RR and his offensive style with the spread, but at the same time if he doesn't produce wins, he will get kicked to the curb. It is definitely for the best of Michigan football that RR starts winning fast so he can keep his job, IMHE.

Honestly, it isn't hard to predict a resurgence from Michigan. We have been down for only two years, and history suggests that big name colleges rarely stay down for too long.
As long as our recruiting doesn't collapse, we will return to promincence. I believe it will be with Rodriguez, but if not, so what? If we are still down in a couple years we'll get a new coach and things will be alright.

greatly increase if there is not a coaching change. If RR gets time to "do his thing" I believe us Michigan fans will be very happy come this decade.

This gave me a really good warm, tingly feeling. I have faith.

Hopefully. Maybe we can make a run for it in 2012-2014.
