Rittenberg's Decade Preview

Submitted by GoBlue65 on
Did anyone read Rittenberg's preview for next decade in the Big Ten? He mentions that he thinks Michigan might win a National Championship in this decade. At least someone from ESPN is showing some faith

I do not care who the coach is if that is to happen. Sure, I love RR and his offensive style with the spread, but at the same time if he doesn't produce wins, he will get kicked to the curb. It is definitely for the best of Michigan football that RR starts winning fast so he can keep his job, IMHE.

Honestly, it isn't hard to predict a resurgence from Michigan. We have been down for only two years, and history suggests that big name colleges rarely stay down for too long. As long as our recruiting doesn't collapse, we will return to promincence. I believe it will be with Rodriguez, but if not, so what? If we are still down in a couple years we'll get a new coach and things will be alright.

greatly increase if there is not a coaching change. If RR gets time to "do his thing" I believe us Michigan fans will be very happy come this decade.
